This is your opportunity to buy a wonderful mahogany Steck pianola that I have owned for quite a while, but sadly need some extra space for another grand piano I purchased a few months ago.
Please take time to read my feedback!

Please do not try to compare this pianola to all those others you may have see on Ebay selling for as little as 99p!
They are that cheap for a reason! Scrap or require months of work and £1,000s to get them back into shape!
It is for that reason old pianola's have such a bad name and often sell for next to nothing.

The pianola system was fully serviced by myself about 5 months ago and this work not only included inspecting all the valves, note bellows, expression bellows, main bellows and all the other items, but I also rebuilt a couple of the expression regulators and various tubes were replaced. The rest of the pianola Piano side is in very good structural condition! This means NO slipping pins, No cracks in the soundboard and the restplank pin block are all in good condition.

There are around or over 11,000 parts in a normal piano with around 4,000 moving. In a Pianola those figures are doubled!! It was a challenge that I will not be repeating again.

One question I never got to answer properly was:
What is the difference between a half Dou-Art and full Duo-Art Steck?
An electric motor as they do not have a brain! An extra accordion was required to control the second expression Harmonic Power that an electric motor could not do on its own! A person can do this easily by pedaling faster or slower to give more power! So they are identical apart from that!

The electric motor versions take all the enjoyment away from playing a pianola and if you just want plug in and have a real piano playing, then you cant beat a Yamaha disklavier. You don't have to change rolls every 3-7 minutes!
Or use an Sd Midi Controller for even more enjoyment with eloctronic pianos!

Before I begin to detail the piano I would like to say that I will arrange Delivery for only £45 as long as the successful bidder lives within a 40 mile radius of Telford in Shropshire.

You can check the distance by going to the website www.theaa.com and click on plan a route from your postcode to TF2 7SA. For deliveries over 40 miles please use the Ask Seller a Question” Link and I will be happy to advise you of the extra delivery costs.

As with all my pianos, when I say I fully checked them I think these pictures will do justice?

If I find any parts that are not up to my standard then I replace them. You may have noticed the new bridal straps Red tapes on the action. I have thousands of spares from pianos I have collected over the years that I have SCRAPED because they have had serious structural defects.
Typically from so called Ebay piano bargains! So be warned!

The key tops are the only part that are not up to my standard as two of them are chipped and some have crazed with age.
I do have a set of new bright white all in one key tops-fronts Can be seen in one of the pictures that I will sell for an extra £15 if you would like to replace them yourself? They are quite easy to do if you are ok with DIY, but time consuming.
If you would like me to replace them, then I would have to charge £175 for this work.

The bellows of a pianola are really the heart of the instrument and any air leaks here will result in the pianola having to be peddled like a person running a marathon! You may often see pianola adverts saying "Good Exercise" That often means big problems in other words!! It will also result in notes note playing or just constantly stuck on.

That is a very simple test you can do on any pedal pianola to see how much air is leaking into in! Tape the holes up on the tracker bar and if you can still pedal easily, then it has serious problems!

The pianola is tuned to concert pitch and remains in tune very well. It has a nice medium tone that is very pleasing.

Ideal for a retirement home, club etc for sing along's or would make a great Christmas present?

Overall this pianola would be ideal for either someone who does not play piano and just wants to listen to actual live piano music or a person who wishes to learn to play the piano. Unlike many other pianola's the manual playing side is not to bad and is quite close to a normal piano for touch and response. Maybe I'm being too critical with statement as I have Bluthner's, Bechstein's, Ibach's, Broadwood's and many other pianos to compare it against!

As you will have seen from the video it can play the most complicated music with ease and I will be including around 30 pianola rolls to get you stated Some of the rolls do need the repairing or may be no good as I have not played them all.
They still manufacture rolls today and the biggest supplier is QRS, here is their website: www.qrsmusic.com You find all sorts of music there, including modern songs.
Ebay is also another good source of music rolls and they can be purchased from as little as 50p a roll if you buy a job lot.

I'm sure you will see from these pictures that this pianola is in very good condition and will give you many years of trouble free playing and pleasure.

This is only one example of my work/ hobby and I always have a few other pianos that will suit grades of pianists.
I collect pianos and when ever I buy another one I have to keep the peace at home and part with one or two depending on what I have bought, hence this one and my Ibach is on sale!
I may also have to part with my immaculate Bluthner because my wife classes the grand I have bought as three pianos!

So before you dash off to your nearest piano dealer or cross your fingers and bid on another piano please contact me first.

PLEASE NOTE:
This piano is only available to UK bidders and any overseas bids will be removed!
I will require bidders who have a feedback of below 5 or have been registered for less than 4 weeks to give me a call before bidding!
Delivery will only be to a ground floor location that does not require moving upstairs or more than 3 steps to access! In the very rare event that the piano can not be manoeuvred into the ground floor room of your choose, please ensure you have another suitable location available.
The piano can be collected as long as it has been paid for prior with cleared funds or payment for the piano can be made in full before delivery or if you prefer, in cash on delivery as long as the delivery charge has been paid for in advance.
